How will  we receive the images?

Images from the day will be edited and delivered to you on USB in high resolution in around 8 weeks. You will also get an online gallery to share your images with family and friends where they can download images to share on social media.

Can you help with our timeline, when should we have our portrait photos?

As a wedding photographer I have definitely got a lot of experience with how wedding days run. I can give a lot of helpful advice about planning your day. If you are getting married outdoors on a bright sunny day (10 – 3) the light and shadows are quite harsh. I recommend finding a spot in full shade, not only is the light more flattering (who doesn’t like looking good) but it keeps your guests out of the heat.

The best time for portrait photos is in the golden hour – One hour before sunset. At this time the light is soft and the colours are beautiful. Check your sunset time for that day and plan your day around it. If it doesn’t quite work out then maybe set aside 10 mins during your reception to sneak out for some photos, I promise it is worth it.

What if it rains on my wedding day?

If it happens to rain on your day don’t let it ruin your day! You only get married once so just get out there. Grab an umbrella, some gumboots and dance in the rain!

We are not really into posing….is that OK?

That is totally fine with me as I’m not really into posing either. I do give some direction when needed and I try to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Most of the day we are simply documenting what is happening. So just be yourself, have fun with each other and you will probably forget the camera is there.

Do you do albums?

I believe your photos shouldn’t stay on a usb, never to be seen. My fine art albums are beautiful handmade books with vivid archival ink and luxurious fine art paper, finished with a leather or Linen cover.
