Maggie & Mike’s had an casual and intimate wedding in the Royal National Park with just their closest family and friends. Luckily the rain held off long enough for an outdoor ceremony at the quaint Simpson Cottage in Bundeena. I was especially thrilled when they took me to a sacred Aboriginal lookout with ancient rock carvings for their photos. This place is so hard to find that a local guy took us through mud and bush to get there. I love a barefoot bride who will walk through mud to get to a special location! This place had such a spiritual aura that we didn’t take any photos for the first 10 mins just so we could feel the beauty and magic of the place. The wedding was a little bitter sweet as Maggie is from Germany and would have to fly home shortly after the wedding for visa reasons. They are doing their best to make do and I was so touched by their strong love that can over come such distance. I hope you enjoy this wedding as much as I did.
